Up to TL 150,000 of your savings is guaranteed by SDIF!

In Domestic Branches;

Accounts opened for real person, deposits that are not subject to commercial operations, TL, Foreign Exchange and precious metal deposit accounts are covered by insurance up to 150.000 TL per one real person in deposit bank.

Deposits out of Insurance Coverage;

Deposits opened at foreign branches of deposit banks, deposits in credit companies that perform offshore banking activities in Turkey and abroad, excessive interest rates when maximum interest rate and total deposit declared to the public and pronounced to the Central Bank are above average interest rates of top five deposit banks are out insurance coverage.

Payments Related to Insurance Coverage;

In case official authorization is revoked, payments related to insurance coverage are made in TL. Amount to be paid in the scope of insurance is defined considering total principal amount and rediscount of interest of the savings deposit account. TL equivalent of foreign exchange and gold deposit accounts are defined based on buying exchange rate of the Central Bank and closing price of Istanbul Gold Exchange (for gold accounts) for the date when official authorization of deposit bank is revoked.
