SMS Verification

It is a new service we offer to users who benefit from our Internet Banking service and who would like extra security by entering their username, e-code and AçýkDeniz passwords.

Users who would like to have extra security can choose the SMS Verification option and access the Internet Branch with one of the user settings listed below: • SMS Verification only when the user logs in to AçýkDeniz. You are asked to enter your Security Code in addition to your user name, e-code and AçýkDeniz password. • SMS Verification only when the user makes a money transfer. For transfers to be conducted through AçýkDeniz, the Security Code is sent to the mobile phone of the customer as SMS. The Security Code is entered to the system on the approval page of the transfer transaction. • SMS Verification only for money transfers that exceed designated amounts. For transfers exceeding the amount set by the user, SMS Verification takes place in the same way as described in the previous option. • SMS Verification only at designated time intervals. SMS Verification takes place at designated time intervals. • No SMS Verification. You can login to AçýkDeniz without SMS Verification.

The Security Code sent to your mobile phone is entered on the screen for SMS Verification. The Security Code can only be used once.

The security code sent to your mobile phone is valid only for 3 minutes.

If the Security Code is entered incorrectly 3 times, the user will be blocked out for 1 hour. For help, call Internet Banking 444 0 800 and press 5.

You can change it by choosing the “Security Management” menu of the Internet Branch or by calling the Contact Center.

For the time being, there is no fee for SMS messages sent for the Security Code.
